On one of my walks on the river trail in Spanish Fork I was taking photographs with my new camera and I saw this blue flower blowing in the wind. So I took a few shots and one turned out so stunning. I am amazed and so glad I was able to capture the beauty of this flower. Sometimes in life the things that we think are average turn out to be extraordinary. We are like this flower, whether in the mist of trials or regular life we can find the beauty in our lives.
Before Val and I went to India we had to have our fun fall festivities with the grand-kids. We took them to Jackers in Springville and had a blast. We buried each other in the corn. There was corn all over the place. We slid down slides, had a wild hay ride in the mud, had yummy donuts, and got lost in a hay bale maze.
I am in India with Val. On Sunday walking down the steps Val noticed I wasn't holding on to the rail. It's my new Normal! I hadn't noticed, six months ago I was holding on and now I am getting use to my new normal. Our move to Utah has kept me busy to say the least. We have settled into Val's dad's home while waiting to be able to move into our home on December 1st. I get to be in India for two week this will help the time fly before moving into our home. It is good to see all the friends old and new that I have met here. Before Val went to India I went to the Huntsman Cancer Center and met with the doctors and staff there. They are really nice and I will be in good hands with them. I also met my local oncologist and will be getting my shot and port flushed there. They are located at the Utah Valley Hospital so I don't have to drive to Salt Lake City each month. My health is great, I am stable and getting back my strength. It is not...
