A little bump
On Monday day I was at the doctors to get blood work and my white blood cell booster shot (what ever its called). They kept me because I was dehydrated. So Tuesday I was trying to drink my fluids, it's hard to drink 80 oz. of fluids. While packing for Idaho to go to a family reunion (Val was doing the packing) I wasn't feeling well. I had Val take my temperature it was 101.2. That was high enough that I was supposed to go to the hospital. We watched it, but it didn't go down, so instead of going to Idaho I went to the emergency room.
They take very good care of cancer patients. They wanted to admit me, so here I am relaxing in the hospital. Emma got to go with Gene, my brother, to Idaho. She will get to see the family for me.
The room is great there is a couch for Val and other chairs so I can get up and move around. That is tricky because I am tied up to monitors. The fever came back yesterday and a little today. They ran lots of tests nothing conclusive. My body is working on all this chemo stuff. My white cells are good and I'm on antibiotics.
I have a little cart by my door so those that come in can put on masks. I where one when I'm walking the halls. They are making sure that I don't get germs.
I will be going home tomorrow that will be good.
