Best hospital day ever.

Best day in the hospital ever. My grand boys called me on face time. I got to go outside and sit for awhile then a harpist was in the hall and she came to my room and played form me. It was so wonderful.



I should say why I'm here. FEVER! I had a embolism Friday at UCSF. The procedure went well they were even able to embolize more than one of the liver tumors. That is the best part :) Saturday they sent me home Saturday night late 12:30 I had a fever of 103.6. This sent us to the hospital. Yesterday my brother Gene his wife Janna and their two boys Ethan and Benjamin came by to visit. We played a game of travel scrabble which Benjamin had conveniently brought. That was so much fun.



This morning the Bishop and Jeni came by. That was wonderful of them to come. I was in a bit of pain while they were there so they helped provide a distraction.

I am so grateful for everyone's prayers they can definitely be felt. Love you all.



The only thing that would have made it better is if I could have gone home But then I wouldn't have had all these great visits. So I'll leave like it is and hope for going home tomorrow.

North Fork Idaho Family Vacation

What a crazy summer we had.  It started out just looking at houses on line in Utah and ended with the sale of our house and purchase of our new house in Woodland Hills in Utah. And we threw in a family vacation in the middle of it all. For our family vacation we went to North Fork Idaho where are kids all joined us.  It was so fun to be with everyone. We went fishing and had a tale gate dinner. Emma did a frog swan dive, unfortunately we didn't get it on camera. We met a moose Saturday we were all together and we went for a hike along the Lewis and Clark trail. Watched a rattlesnake cross the road.  cows Eat lunch

New Normal

I am in India with Val.  On Sunday walking down the steps Val noticed I wasn't holding on to the rail. It's my new Normal! I hadn't noticed, six months ago I was holding on and now I am getting use to my new normal. Our move to Utah has kept me busy to say the least.  We have settled into Val's dad's home while waiting to be able to move into our home on December 1st.  I get to be in India for two week this will help the time fly before moving into our home. It is good to see all the friends old and new that I have met here. Before Val went to India I went to the Huntsman Cancer Center and met with the doctors and staff  there.  They are really nice and I will be in good hands with them.  I also met my local oncologist and will be getting my shot and port flushed there.  They are located at the Utah Valley Hospital so I don't have to drive to Salt Lake City each month. My health is great, I am stable and getting back my strength.  It is not...
