Empty Nesters
Everyone is asking me how it feels to be an empty nester. I took Emma to Brigham Young University - Idaho after Labor day weekend. She is now settled into her apartment and having fun with her new college life. It took longer than I thought to get her moved in. Things always take longer I should be use to it by now.
I went to Utah by way of Star Valley to see the Star Valley Temple. The photo I took is on my photo blog. They were rehearsing for the celebration and about to film primary children walking to the temple.
I listened to the BYU football game on the way to Springville. I was going to watch it with my parents but I was delayed settling Emma in to her place. There are times you rearrange your schedule for your child's needs and I was happy to do it.
At the parent meeting they said a quote about sending our children off into the world that I realy like it is "Great emptiness without them, great fullness because of them."
