Riding the Rail

Val was in Japan to meet with customers. This ment a lot of meetings and off to different place most outside of Tokyo. Wednesday we went out to a small town. It looked pretty big to me lots of tall buildings and lots of people. There wasn't a tourist attraction in this town so I just walked and took pictures. The first thing I saw was a bike parking lot complete with two stories.

There was also a place where the bikes went into a regular parking garage. They were lined up to get in. As I walked I had to take care not to get hit by a bike. Ok I should mention that they are on the other side of the road that means they walk on the left side of things. So I would have to think walk to the left. But then the rules would change and they would have you walking on the other side needles to say you had to pay attention to where you were going.

Here is the bike dealership where you could buy your bike.

The long walk. There are no places to sit down. After walking a ways I would get tired. I did find a wall or a step into a building. I was getting pretty tired and I saw ahead some trees so I walk toward them. When I got there it was a technology campus with a big fence and trees I suspect to prevent you to seeing what was inside. Not a park and no place to sit. So I walked along the fence dodging bikes. I was so tired I didn't think turn around I just kept on going. Couldn't cross the street because of the fence on the street side.

Here is a mail box.

This is inside of a 7 eleven.

This is where I am standing waiting for Val to return. The yellow line has groves in it and they are for blind people to find there way around.

When Val returned we had a great lunch mine was an EEG over rice with some brown sauce. It was yummy. Sorry no picture I was so tired my brain wasn't working right and we need to hurry to the next meeting.

Pictures from the train.

At our next stop there was a mall with some red benches we dis idled that that is where we would meet. I walk into some shops found the toilet (restroom) and sat on the bench. I was so tired. I did take a picture of this cute guy.

I went into a French cafe and had a pastry. There was a place to eat it that was nice and the pastry was yummy.

That night Val and I went to dinner at Wired. It was loud and busy. It must be where all the young ok in their twenties hang out the food was great. We had a cream soda float.

This is where we would caught the shuttle bus back to the hotel from the station.

Well that was one long day full of adventure.
